Blog Change Up

I take after Super Mom, by always having to re-design/re-organize everything every few months.  It's a blessing and a curse.  I grew up having our house changed around about ever six months or so.  She would either move around furniture, re-organize cabinets/shelves, or re-paint something.  And ever since I was about 14 or 15, I was doing the same exact thing.  So, if you haven't noticed already, my blog has a new look, again, and this time, a new name.

I chose, Just Sarah, because it's just me, writing to you (my cute little followers), about my day to day life and how I deal with it.  Including fashion/beauty tips, family stuff, living with amazing boyfriend, and finding great deals.  Living, laughing, and loving life is still part of my blog because every day, I have to remember to live, laugh, and love.  I've been through a lot so far in my 20-something years of life, and it's taken a lot of learning to finally realize that my life is worth cherishing.  And I have God, family/friends, and amazing boyfriend to thank for that.

I hope you all like my new changes! 

Hopefully this will be it for a long time.

Hi!  I'm Nicole from Busy Girl and I'm so excited to be guest posting here on Sarah's blog today :)  I'm a twenty-something newlywed, mom to one spoiled dog and lover of coffee, laughter and photography.  And summer...sunshine and warm weather will always put me in a good mood.  I thought I'd share my favorite things about summer with you today:

1)  My husband and I recently went on vacation to the Outer Banks and I have to say, it's pretty much my favorite place on earth to be during the summer.  Between the ocean, the weather and the relaxed vibe of the island, it's perfect.

2) We're a boating family  I actually just earned my boating license, although truth be told, I have no idea how to even turn the boat on!  So I just enjoy the weekends out on the lake...and let someone else drive :)

3) Five nights a week you can find me barefoot in sand.  But not on a beach.  My husband taught me how to play volleyball last summer and now I cannot get enough.

4) Flowers, oh the flowers.  I love the surprises that keep blooming in our backyard.

5) The smell.  You know, that fresh-cut, clean air smell that wafts through your windows during the day?  I love that.  And watching my dog enjoy every moment outdoors.

100th Post!!

Wow, I can't believe that I've already written 100 posts!  

I went into the blogging world very skeptical thinking that I wouldn't be very good at it, but what I've learned from my other fellow bloggers is that there is no right or wrong, you just write and write what you feel.

I'm an ALL OVER THE PLACE blogger!

I've never blogged before, and a few months ago when I saw an old friend was blogging, I figured I'd give it a try.  I had no idea what I was going to blog about or if I'd even like it, but I had to try.  I started off talking about myself and my life, to talking about my family and delicious meals that I cook, to shopping and fashion.  Pretty much whatever came to my mind or what I was into/doing that day/week, I'd talk about it...and I'm addicted.  Blogging is now apart of my daily life and my blog posts are all over the place.

My blog name "Living, Laughing, and Loving Life" comes from my new favorite phrase "Live Laugh Love" because recently, in the last year or so, I am finally living again, laughing all the time, and loving my family, amazing boyfriend, and life.  Before that, I was going no where with my life: changing my major every year (plus not doing so great in my classes), drinking and partying, getting dumped by my fiance after 3 years (who I later found out was a liar and a cheat), and not at all close with my family.  After I hit my all time low of getting kicked out of my house and dropping out of school, I decided I needed to change a few a lot of things.So, first thing, I found a great church, and started going again.I found a room for rent and moved away from the 'party life.'I regained my relationship with my family and now have a family day every Sunday with them.I figured out what I want to do with my life and started going back to school,to become a teacher :)And lastly, but absolutely not least, I met this wonderful guy who is now my amazing boyfriend.Now, with all that has happened, I'm really learning to live, laugh, and love my life.And I want to share all my stories with you.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving that next Friday I'll be in a plane,

on my way to Florida!

(for a week!)

I'm loving that I'm more than half-way done with my paper

that is due before class tomorrow.

I'm loving that tonight I will actually

get to paint my nails.

I'm loving that I'm going to go get lunch soon.

(I'm starving!)

Shhh...but I'm loving not wearing a bra today,

because yesterday was so painful,

so I just slipped on a built-in bra tank top,

and threw a t-shirt on over it.

(I'm hoping, at 22, my boobs are still perky enough to pull this off)

With that said,

I'm loving aloe vera!

I'm loving that, even though a got burned, I have a base coat tan for Florida.

I'm loving the Home Tour I'm doing,

Meet and Greet

I've been following an old high school friend's blog for awhile now, and finally decided to start up my own blogging website a few days ago.  I saw on her blog site that she is following a blogger that set up a meet and greet.  It's a great way for bloggers like me to meet other bloggers out there in the blogging world.





I'm a 22 year old striving psychology student who wants to become a first or second grade teacher (still haven't narrowed it down yet).  I've been working with kids for almost 8 years now, and know that it is my passion to continue the rest of my life working with them.  Currently, I am a nanny for two of the cutest girls, and I've been watching them for almost a year now.  I'm also the oldest of five siblings, so that also might be why I have a connection with children.  I also live with my amazing boyfriend who is absolutely wonderful and takes such good care of me.  My life can be hectic, but sometimes not so interesting..so I'd like to make it a tad more interesting by blogging about different things here and there.


Since I've only been blogging for a few days now, I only have 9 other blogs so far:

New Blogger

I've noticed that blogging has become a new fad lately in young adults, especially when I saw an old high school friend's blog, so I figured I'd give it a try and see how it goes.  She made it seem really fun and inspired me to do the same.  I did take a few ideas from her (please forgive me!), but I'm trying to add my own twist to it, and hopefully people will like it as much as I like hers.

I've never been big on writing, but when I have written something, I have been told I'm pretty good at it.  To me, my life isn't all too exciting.  However, my life has never been better as of about a year ago.  As most of you know I went through a horrible time at the beginning of last year, and I thought my life was over, but nope!  God had many new plans for me, and I am so grateful!  So now, I'm living my life to its fullest, laughing a whole lot more than I have in the last few years, and loving everything that has been brought into my life.

So, here goes nothing...
