I am a Pinterest addict!

google

And I turned Super Mom and New Mommy Sister onto it,
and let's just say...
I think they're more addicted than I am!
If that's even possible!

Here are just a few of what I've pinned this week...

I'm an ALL OVER THE PLACE blogger!

I've never blogged before, and a few months ago when I saw an old friend was blogging, I figured I'd give it a try.  I had no idea what I was going to blog about or if I'd even like it, but I had to try.  I started off talking about myself and my life, to talking about my family and delicious meals that I cook, to shopping and fashion.  Pretty much whatever came to my mind or what I was into/doing that day/week, I'd talk about it...and I'm addicted.  Blogging is now apart of my daily life and my blog posts are all over the place.

I'm Sarah.

I'm a nanny who plans on becoming a first grade teacher.

I'm in LOVE with this man.

Shopping, fashion, health/beauty and makeup are some of my daily topics.
(she has a ton of 'how-to' videos)

I link up pretty much every day of the week.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Here's what I'm loving this Wednesday...

First of all,
I'm loving my new blog look!
With some help from
Custom Blog Design
I was able to put it together all by myself.

I'm loving that the little girls I nanny
go back to school tomorrow.

I'm loving that I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow.

I'm loving that I'll be able to paint my nails tonight.
(they need it badly!)

I'm loving my new panda necklace
amazing boyfriend surprised me with for my birthday.

I'm not loving that I still have to write a paper
for class tomorrow night.

I'm loving that at work today we're
going to order pizza.

I'm loving that tonight Big-Hearted Sister
is coming over so we can catch up on Teen Mom.

And, as always, I'm loving amazing boyfriend!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving that Friday at this time I will be in a plane on my way to Florida!

I'm loving that I might have tomorrow off from work.

I'm not loving that a stranger was in my cute little apartment two days ago
and stole my makeup bag.
(and who knows what else, that I haven't noticed)

However, I'm loving that amazing boyfriend is setting up our
alarm system today so I can feel somewhat safe again.

I'm loving that I wore comfy clothes to work today.

I'm loving that I get to pick up my fixed necklace amazing boyfriend
gave me for christmas because it broke last week.

I'm loving that Big Hearted Sister is coming over tonight
so we can catch up on our shows!

I'm loving this weather.

And I'm loving, again, that I'll be in Florida for a week on vacation!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving that next Friday I'll be in a plane,
on my way to Florida!
(for a week!)

I'm loving that I'm more than half-way done with my paper
that is due before class tomorrow.

I'm loving that tonight I will actually
get to paint my nails.

I'm loving that I'm going to go get lunch soon.
(I'm starving!)

Shhh...but I'm loving not wearing a bra today,
because yesterday was so painful,
so I just slipped on a built-in bra tank top,
and threw a t-shirt on over it.
(I'm hoping, at 22, my boobs are still perky enough to pull this off)

With that said,
I'm loving aloe vera!

I'm loving that, even though a got burned, I have a base coat tan for Florida.

I'm loving the Home Tour I'm doing,
courtesy of The Bargain Blonde.
(Like she said, I have this weird obsession with seeing how other people decorate their homes)

I'm loving that New Mommy Sister
joined the blogging world.

I'm loving that I will be able to buy a new bathing suit
for my trip.

And I'm loving that I now I have two three followers!

New Mommy Sister Is Blogging!

New Mommy Sister saw that I was blogging and was really interested in trying it out too.  I know she'll have stories of being a new mom and stories of just recently living with her boyfriend and his parents.  She's also an amazing cook, so she'll probably have a lot of yummy recipes to share.

If you'd like to follow her, here's her blog site: http://storiesandlaughs.blogspot.com/

Thanks!

Things Thursday: Things That Didn't Happen Yesterday, Like I Said They Would

I didn't get to paint my nails.

I didn't work on my paper for school,
that's due tonight.

Big Hearted Sister didn't come over,
so I didn't get to watch the finale of 16 & Pregnant.

I didn't really get to go through my new clothes
because I didn't have anymore hangers.
I didn't have Amazing Boyfriend there to take care of me (and my hurt foot)
because he worked until almost 1am last night.

And I don't have just one follower anymore,
I have TWO!
Woo!  Keep 'em coming :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

For starters, I'm loving Amazing Boyfriend.
I sliced open my foot last night,
and he took such good care of me :)

I'm loving getting to lay on the couch
and put my foot up...
while at work.

I'm loving that I just had cheese and crackers
for breakfast,
because the family I work for never has anything to eat.

I'm loving that tonight, Big Hearted Sister
is coming over to my cute little apartment
so we can watch the special reunion of 16 & Pregnant.

I'm loving that I still only have one follower
on my blog...

I'm loving that I'm watching Victorious right now.

I'm loving that I bought more of my
Wild Vines Strawberry Zinfandel
last night, so I can have it when I get home tonight.

I'm loving that I get Friday off of work this week.

I'm loving that I have to write yet another
psychology paper before Thursday night.

I'm loving that I can finally paint my nails tonight.

And I'm loving that when I get home tonight,
I get to go through the new clothes I got in the mail yesterday
from WetSeal :)
(I know...more shopping guilt)

60 Day Challenge: Day 2

Day 2 - A picture of you and the person you have been close with for the longest

Haha, yah, New Mommy Sister and I have been pretty close ever since high school.  We just mesh so well together...can't you tell?

Boob Toob Babble: 16 & Pregnant

Boob Tube Babble

Every Wednesday night, Big Hearted Sister comes over to my cute little apartment, and we watch our TV shows.  These usually consist of 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom, and starting today, Wilfred.

Last Tuesday was the last episode of this seasons 16 & Pregnant...well before the reunion with Dr. Drew.  I have to start off by saying that all the men from this last season (3), except for Mike, were all lazy jerks.  I think it's so funny how these guys think that having a child is going to be so easy.  But I guess they think that because after the baby is born, they leave all the work to their girlfriend.  I am proud of pretty much all the girls from this season though.  They all stood up for themselves and when the man was being dumb, they told him how it was.

Big Hearted Sister and I were discussing whether any of the girls just happened to get pregnant by chance or if it was always because they forgot a pill or didn't use protection.  And yup, most of the girls got pregnant because they were on the pill and missed a few days, and then didn't use back up protection.  I don't know how these girls can be so lackadaisical about taking their birth control.  I would freak if I knew that I missed a day, and then would take every kind of precaution until I knew I was back on track.

After watching this season, I look forward to Dr. Drew meeting up with the girls and discussing what happened over the season and what's happening now...drama drama drama!

Sisters From Other Misters

I have four sisters.  We're all between the ages of 17 and 22 (very close in age, I know).  We are all close with each other in our own individual ways.  Growing up, we have all had to share rooms with each other at one time or another, so we have loved and hated each other at different times, like any other sibling would.

(us about 5 years ago)
Closest in age to me is New Mommy Sister.  She's 21 and had her first baby about three months ago.  Yes, I'm an auntie!  She had a beautiful little girl and is turning out to be a great mom.  When New Mommy Sister first came to live with us, I didn't like her very much.  I think because being able to have my own room all my life, to all the sudden having to share a room with my cousin, um yah, didn't go over to well with me.  So for the first few years sharing a room together, we didn't have a very good relationship.  However, when we both got into high school, things changed.  We started hanging out with each other more because we had some of the same friends.  We hung out all the time and soon became inseparable.  When I got into college, we grew apart a little bit, but we're still really close, and are even in the same class at school.  So even though we both don't live at home anymore, we get to see each other every week in class.

(at her graduation)
Next, is Drama Queen Sister.  She's 19 and the "oldest" of the twins (by like 13 minutes).  Now she has always been a drama queen ever since I can remember.  If she didn't get her way, she would pout and tell you to "go-go" (as she would say when she was little).  As she got older though, she would tell you exactly how she felt, whether it was nice or not (she's even gotten into a few cat-fights).  When she isn't mad, she can be the sweetest girl ever.  A lot of people, when they meet her, think she is my twin because we look so much alike.  She does remind me a little bit of me, but more on the extreme side.  We get along pretty good, but since she's moved out of the house, we don't talk much anymore, and it kind of bums me out.

(aw, aren't we cute?)
Big Hearted Sister (the other twin) is also 19, of course, and currently working with special needs children.  She works for a company that calls her whenever a family with a special needs child needs to be taken care of (so, kind of like a special babysitter).  She doesn't know yet what she wants to do in the future, career-wise (she's changed it so many times), but she's still going to school.  Big Hearted Sister will do about anything for you, even if you haven't been so nice to her.  She loves all the fantasy and super hero type movies and doesn't care if you know it.  Her and I are pretty close now, and she comes over to my cute little apartment every Wednesday to watch our shows.  We make fun of each other all the time, but that's our way of showing that we love each other.

(walking at graduation)
Lastly, Smart Blonde Sister, is my little sister who graduated from high school last night.  She's 17 and I think smarter than all of us combined.  She may be very, very blonde, but was in AVID and took a lot of honor classes.  She keeps to herself for the most part, but once you start talking to her, she can really talk your ear off.  You can give her any topic and she can go on for hours about it (she's always been like that).  Now when I say that she's very blonde, I mean it.  She has her moments where you wonder about her sometimes and then just laugh your head off.  I can tell you a million stories from when she was little to now, but I won't get into them because I don't want to embarrass her too much.  Haha.

No matter what, I love all of my sisters...

I Love My Parents

My Wonderful Parents

My mom and dad are the best.  They have been with me through thick and thin, and have made me into the wonderful lady I am today.

Super Mom and Hard-Working Dad have been married for 22 years and have 6 beautiful children.  They have provided our family with a beautiful home in a safe neighborhood and sent us to great schools.  We were all involved in sports, and Hard-Working Dad was always our coach (and still is for Smelly-Boy Brother).  He has taught us all how to ride a bike, throw and catch a ball, and dribble.  He may be tall and at times, intimidating, but he is the biggest softy and nicest guy on the planet.  He's one of those people that wherever you go, someone knows him.  He can start a conversation with anyone about anything, and he's pretty goofy too.  He may not always know what to say when you're having a bad day, but he gives the best hugs.  I could not ask for a better dad!

Super Mom is very outgoing and has a huge heart.  She can be really tough and "mean" at times, but she does it all for the right reason.  In the past, it was always a love/hate relationship with her, but now that I'm older, I totally understand where she was coming from, and were closer than ever now!  Super Mom has always been my voice when I didn't feel comfortable doing things on my own.  Whereas in the last year or so she has taught me to use my voice and I have learned so much from her.  My mom has done so much for our family, to keep it together, safe, and healthy.  I hope that one day I will be as good a mom as her.
Their Wedding Day

Not only have my parents done a lot to provide for our family, they have gone through a lot to make our family, our family.  When Super Mom met Hard-Working Dad, she was already pregnant with me.  My dad, being the loving and caring guy that he is, fell in love with us both.  They got married and a few years later, had my beautiful twin sisters, Drama Queen Sister and Big Hearted Sister.  I was now a big sister!  A couple of years later, my parents really wanted a little boy, so they looked into adopting and found Smelly-Boy Brother needed a family.  After months of paperwork and going back and forth with social workers, we finally got to meet our new brother and take him home.  We were one big, happy family...although we thought.
Many Years Ago
My parents moved us to a bigger home in a nicer area, and what only seemed like a little while later, our two cousins, New Mommy Sister and Smart Blonde Sister, needed a new home and my wonderful parents couldn't let them go to foster homes, so we took them in and adopted them a few years later.

Now our family was our family...
