60 Day Challenge: Day 46, 47, & 48

With all the stress from the last two weeks and getting the new job, I've been slacking big time on blogging and keeping up with the 60 Day Challenge, so I'll make it up by doing a few days in one.  I can do this!  I'm almost to day 60!

Day 46 - A picture of where you wish you were right now
I will be there in a few hours though with Super Mom
for some delicious happy hour sushi!
Day 47 - A picture of your favorite place to shop

Day 48 - A picture of your favorite actress/actor

My E.L.F. Makeup FINALLY Arrived!

If you remember a few weeks ago, my cute little apartment was robbed!  But weirdly enough, they only took my makeup bag!  Crazy right!?  All my wonderful makeup was gone.  I'd say about $100 worth, just gone.  I was so sad and confused...and you could say scared out of my mind that someone a complete stranger was in my house!!  Well, enough about that because as I'm writing this, I am alone in my apartment, and I'm just freaking myself out... door locked, check!

Ok, so since I had no more makeup, I went to Target and bought the cheapest, but pretty good stuff to hold me over.  A friend, a few years ago, bought me a bunch of e.l.f. makeup for my birthday.  I had never heard of it before, but she said it was great and a majority of the products are $1-$3 per each item.  Awesome!  I've been hooked ever since.  I grabbed the few essentials they had there at Target, and then went online for the rest.  And I found out when I registered on their website, they sent me an email for a code to receive 10 free items if I spent $20 or more.  Pretty sweet, huh?

Well, seeing that I've been really tight on money lately, and I remembered that my Super Mom and Hard-Working Dad never got me a birthday present...hmmm.  So I called Super Mom up and asked if she would be willing to spend about $30 on me, and she said yes!

Which brings me to today receiving my package in the mail!
(Sidenote - I ordered my e.l.f. products on July 29, paid $6.95 for standard 5-7 day shipping, and I finally got it today, August 12!  Two weeks!  That's the only downside to e.l.f. online ordering.)

1.  Mineral Infused Face Primer [buy] - I saw that the Lindsey @ The Bargain Blonde bought and reviewed this and since she loved it, I just had to get it too.  It goes on before you put on all your makeup so your makeup goes on evenly and gives you a satin finish look.
2.  Pressed Powder [buy] - I wear foundation, but sometimes I need some extra coverage on certain areas.
3.  Dramatic Lash Kit [buy] - sometimes you just need some extra lashes!
4.  Concealer Stick [buy] - perfect for concealing blemishes while on the go.
5.  All Over Cover Stick [buy] - I swear by this stuff!  It is amazing at covering up little blemishes big pimples that you don't want seen.
6.  Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder [buy] - I've never used bronzer before, but hey, for only $1, why not?
7.  Hypershine Lipgloss [buy] - I got this as a free gift by referring 3 people to e.l.f.  Thank you very much e.l.f. :)
8.  Toe Separators [buy] - I always use kleenex and toilet paper to separate my toes, so I figured it was time to step it up and buy the real deal.
9.  Liquid Eyeliner [buy] - using my eyeliner stick doesn't really work when I'm trying to go for the winged-eye look
10.  Eye Widener [buy] - I saw that Imogen @ Imogen Foxy Locks wears this and her eye makeup is gorgeous.
11.  Smudge Eye Sponge [buy] - to get that smokey eye look I thought this would help.
12.  Blending Eye Brush [buy] - this will help blend all the colors on your eye or can be used as a concealer brush.
13.  Fan Brush [buy] - you know how when you put eye makeup on and a bunch of it falls below your eyes, well ta-dah!  This will help sweep it off your face without smudging it under your eyes!
14.  Bronzing Brush [buy] - I bought bronzer, ergo a bronzing brush.
15.  100 Eyeshadow Palette [buy] - 100 eyeshadow colors for only $10!?  I was sold!

I can't wait to use all of it!
Do you use any e.l.f. products?
Love it? Hate it?

Target Tuesday

I'm following Tara over at Fabulous but Evil with...

Since I'm going to Florida for a week (t-minus 2 days!), the things I want most from Target are one of these cute bathing suits:

Now only if I was still that skinny...
(Hah, as I'm scarfing down a burger and fries.  Damn you delicious fattening food!)

Guilty Pleasures: Shopping

So, I did it again...

Wet Seal was having their usual online clearance sale: "buy one get one for a penny" and this time I just couldn't resist.

Lately, every morning when I'm getting dressed, I just stand there in my so-called walk-in closet and stare at my clothes, that are crammed together on a 4 foot rod.  I love all my clothes, but when I go to put something on, I think "well, I've worn that a lot" or "eh, I don't feel like wearing that color today."  (Yah, I'm picky.)

So, last Saturday, I was online and got an email from Wet Seal about their deal and, of course, I had to go look.

One click after another, I had about 10 things in my shopping cart.  Uh oh...

I started to think, and give myself reasons why I needed these items: "you've been working hard lately, you deserve a little something," "buy one, get one for a PENNY," and "these are just too cute to pass up!"

Chi-Ching! My bank account was just debited $70, but I saved $45, and shipping was only $5. (I received the items on Tuesday afternoon!)

And here's what my money went toward...
$13.99
$13.99
$12.99
$4.99 $0.01
$11.99 $0.01
$7.99 $0.01
$15.99
$10.99 $0.01
$13.99
Now I just need hangers to put all of them on...

What I'm Loving Wednesday

For starters, I'm loving Amazing Boyfriend.
I sliced open my foot last night,
and he took such good care of me :)

I'm loving getting to lay on the couch
and put my foot up...
while at work.

I'm loving that I just had cheese and crackers
for breakfast,
because the family I work for never has anything to eat.

I'm loving that tonight, Big Hearted Sister
is coming over to my cute little apartment
so we can watch the special reunion of 16 & Pregnant.

I'm loving that I still only have one follower
on my blog...

I'm loving that I'm watching Victorious right now.

I'm loving that I bought more of my
Wild Vines Strawberry Zinfandel
last night, so I can have it when I get home tonight.

I'm loving that I get Friday off of work this week.

I'm loving that I have to write yet another
psychology paper before Thursday night.

I'm loving that I can finally paint my nails tonight.

And I'm loving that when I get home tonight,
I get to go through the new clothes I got in the mail yesterday
from WetSeal :)
(I know...more shopping guilt)

Guilty Pleasures: Shopping

After I did my usual Saturday morning cleaning, I needed to run by Target to get a few things.  I only went there to buy 8-10 household items, but found myself gravitating towards the clothing department.  I told myself I would just look and not buy anything...but you know how that goes.

Well, as I'm just looking, I come across some cute cardigan sweaters...exactly what I've been looking for.  And they were on sale!  Oh no, there were so many choices.  I decided on three, which was three more than I should've gotten.  Ok, that was it, off to the check stands!  But wait, cute graphic tees on sale... Ahh, I was so bad and got two!  I then ran to the first check stand I could see before I could buy anything else.

I spent way more than I should have, but look, it was so worth it!

Cute huh? :)
